[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Located in the Deccan Traps, the Kune falls is one of the breathtaking waterfalls in the heart of Lonavla-Khandala valley. It a spectacular sight as one can see the waterfall while coming out of the last tunnel to enter Lonavala while traveling from Mumbai to Pune on the express highway. The waterfall is in 2 sections and each part is around 100 meters high. One has to to leave the Mumbai-Pune Expresway at the Lonavla bypass and take the old Mumbai-Pune highway for around 10 minutes. Kune missionary/church is a good landmark to reach the falls.

It runs for many days long after the monsoon is over, majestic in its appearance, one can have bath in the water that flows through the valley.

Hallo Subhash
What a beautiful view of this nice-looking waterfall. The white of the water, divided by the green of the nature that surrounds it, is lovely to look at. The algae on the rocks on the left hand side of the frame displays very clear. The green of the algae is very bright and clear. This must be an awesome view to see from a plane or helicopter. Thanks for sharing this impressive view. Best regards.

W wonderful waterfall...great angle on this one..The blue is coming by the refraction of light from the sun to the water and teh onto the darkened areas..Very well..
