[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I am back from long week end. I was a bit busy completing the chocked up work. but i did see the new addition on TN. I am posting a pic that i had taken last year on 24th Dec. I intended to post his one for a long but forgot it. So here it is.
Once going through pictures of Mr. Ram Thakur, i had seen a picture of this species. So when i decided to post this one i quickly visited that pic (http://www.treknature.com/gallery/Asia/India/photo73878.htm).
Its a Handmaiden Moth. very litele info is available on net about this very beautiful moth. Gnerally moths are not so beautiful bt this one stands as exception. it has really nice transperant wings. And its like i gotta bonus. I got two and in what a romantic pose. They were loving in morning sun light. Hmmm.....

Hello Mahesh,
Fine and interesting presentation of a pair of moths in cop.
Nice comp and good DOF and BG.
I think this species belongs to the Syntomidae.

These are very picturesque moths, Mahesh, and you have done full justice to them here.
A lovely composition with the two of them mating on a broad leaf partially eaten by grasshoppers, I guess.
