What a lovely shot of this kingfisher.
Its coloring (pinkish head) distinguishes it from the other kingfishers I have seen on TN.
Amazing how vivid the colors are.
Also love that big heavy-looking beak for one so small.
Great details and POV, with excellent eye contact.

images of this quality.

Wow, what a magnificent capture of the stunning Oriental Dwarf Kingfisher. I honestly
cannot recall seeing this specific Kingfisher before, although it looks much like the little
Pigmy Kingfisher we find here in my nick of the woods. The biggest difference is that
the Pygmy Kingfisher has a blue streak on its orange head and not the all violet head
as seen in your image. Anyway, you've captured wonderful details of this dainty little
bird and the colours are absolutely dazzling.
