A little egret from the Kanha National Park in central India. This one was overlooking a nala (a small stream) which was filled with wildlife (various wading birds, langurs, Gair, Sambhar, Barking deer, Spotted deer......) all quenching their thirst in the seering mid-day heat (40c+ temperatures) in the summer.
