Tramea limbata (for Joey)
I love it. A good enough dedication. Now there is a horse race. That is a euphemism which means something like a race, although it is said tongue in cheek which mean saying with a certain amount of humour. All very complicated when one has to go through idiomatic hoops to get across what one really means. This leaves little room for me to obfuscate:-)
Haraprasan what do they call you for a short name? I am Robert, short is Bob. Some folks call me Big Bob....those were in the good old days...nice image by the way!

It means a lot that you'd dedicate a photo to me! :)
And such a good one at that!
Excellent in-flight shot of this dragonfly.
You've frozen the wings so well and with pin-point focusing.
Excellent exposure to bring out the colours against the sky.
I like the composition aswell.
Thankyou very, very much Haraprasan :D
And of course this is straight into my favourites theme :)
My best regards,

What a nice dedication!
Nice in-flight shot - conveys a sense of speed and yet shows us enough of the insect to appreciate it.

Dear DEAR FRIEND, NAMASTAY.
BEAUTIFUL piece of work.
Have been a naughty boy; been away from my TN friends for a long time. After 50 years I ran into an old friend on TN who re-introduced me to the still living members of my Squadron from the Air Force days. Have been catching up. Hence this little turmoil.
Excellent in-flight image.

you can supply such a nice shot for flying dragon. This is hard work. Your results very nice. It looks like stable on air. The post is a nice gift to Joe. good notes.

Wonderful in-flight shot and you have freezed the action well. The blue sky acts as a great BG. Though I feel the focus is a bit soft but it is very difficult to take in-flight shots and you have done admirably well here. I have failed in all my attempts. Must have made Joey very happy. Superb lighting and a great POV. Very nicely composed. Kudos.

je sais tres bien qu'il est dificile de prendre une libellule en vol(cela peut arriver qu'elle fase du sur place)et mêm si le piqué n'est pas extra cela vaut le coup d'oeil.
bravo merci et continue.
