[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
A very common visitor to our little garden, this Shikra (Accipiter sp.) was in a particularly approachable mood. Shikras are often the most common birds of prey in urban gardens of India. |

Namaste Ravi. An elegant and beautifully coloured bird with its subtle shades of grey. Nicely caught as it displays its tail and wing feathers. Nice light. Regards. Klaudio.

Hi Ravi,
It's a very interesting raptor for me, probably the first time I'm seeing this... I liked the details on the plumage and the pose you captured. TFS
Best wishes,
Selen
Hello Ravi,
You are lucky to have this beauty visiting your garden. Good shot from the back and yet exposing the details on the head and good capture exposing the plumage of this bird.

Jusni

Hello Ravi,
Excellent capture of this Shikra in a fine pose showing its beautiful tail feathers clearly. Also good focus on the red eye of this fine bird of prey. Well done!
Many thanks and regards, Ulla

Hello Ravi,
I noticed this fine shot of a Shikra in your gallery and I think it deserves more credit for the sharpness, lighting, composition, pose and POV that shows this fine raptor well with great eye contact.
Thanks for sharing this beauty,
Ivan
