Hi Ravi,
Oh my...! What a lovely creature! I think that this is the first time I think a bat is cute; look at those irresistible eyes, they are wonderful! I would be much impressed to have this creature in my garden! Exposure is beautiful and so is this POV and colors. I think that it might have moved a little as details on its head could be a little accentuated. Anyway, just for fun, I did a WS. I hope that you won’t mind. I like this picture a lot and this eye contact is impressive :)

Hello Ravi,
You did a great job by recomposing this picture! I also like very much Claudine's workshop because the extra sharpening help alot to bring our eyes to the head having the rest of the body more blurred... Great POV and well composed!
Great job and TFS!
Michel
Hello Ravi,
fruit bats are my favourite animals that I am also batman and I study on them. In Turkiye, there is a single species, Rousettus aegyptiacus. Rousettus, my nickname at same time, relatively similar to your Cynopterus. You capture it with a great composition and POV. Focus, contact of very beautiful and large eyes very nice. Many people know or assume all bats blind and hairless. really, all of them have eyes, but only fruits bats with large eyes as like you show us greatly. The last group usually without echolocation on the contary Microchiroptera (mainly insectivorous bats).
I send my special thanks you for showing us. Best wishes
Ahmet

Hi Ravi,
Great improvement in your presentation. It looks like you had enough resolution in the original to crop, while maintaining good quality. A much more dynamic image :)
We have bats here where I live..But I've only seen them as shadows cast in the night from our backyard security light :(
Well done,
Howard

Great shot. The composition is good, and what appears most striking to me is the reflections in the eyes. May be a little more DOF wud have been better. Anyways, great work.

His eyes are beautiful, and sweet, but his skin is strange. I see fruit bats in Nepal and Sri Lnaka roosting in huge groups in the morning, stretching their wings, flying when a hawk goes after them or the crows.
Hello Ravi !
I discover your gallery with great pleasure, and I particularly love this picture, because bats belong to my favourite animals and we do not see them very often on TN. I love how this bat seems to be looking right into your eyes, with his big black and shiny eyes. Nice composition, natural colors, nice details on the face. Very well done !
Valérie.
