[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Friends, my resident Green Bee Eaters disappeared for about a week and then came back yesterday afternoon. They are a pair of them. The bigger one (I don't know whether it's male or female) is quicker in catching bees, or maybe it's hungrier of the two. They have their favourite perches on the cables near our house terrace and they are least bothered about my presence. When they are around, I take my time setting up camera on the tripod. They are still there hunting bees even after I have finished my shoot. The Bigger One sometimes flies close to my body after catching a bee in mid-air, as if to invite me to take a shot.

During yesterday's shoot, I nailed the Big Guy with a bee in its beak. In fact, it posed with the bee for quite sometime before smashing it on the metal cable and then swallowing it up in a single quick gulp. Fascinating!
Please have a look.
For a detailed note on the bird, please refer back to my numerous images of this couple posted earlier.
Hope my repeated theme on these birds does not bore you.

TFL and regards.

Hi Ram,
Another beautiful bird and you have captured a fine action moment. Fantastic colours and details on its plumage and that eye looks so expressive. The BG looks so natural here and the lighting is perfect. Wonderful POV and composition. Kudos.
