Both pictures are very cute. You managed to catch so attractive scene and pose of the insect. Timing is really great as ell as rich colours, excellent exposure and fine details. I also like great sharpness of the insect especially head and body. My compliments and TFS.

Very nice macro of a Seven-spot Ladybird taking off in flight. Great POV showing with good sharpness and detail the front of the head and the wingcases (elytra) against a pleasing green OOF bg.
Thanks for sharing this beauty,
Nice to see you after such a long break. Hope everything is OK. This is an outstanding shot and those brightly coloured wings looks gorgeous. Amazing in-flight shot and you have freezed the action perfectly. Very neat and sharp image with superb illumination. Very nicely composed. Kudos.

Welcome back to TN and thank you for having taken the time to visit my gallery. Quite a difference between my icy psotings and your refreshing, beautifully vivid and coloured picture.
It's almost an abstract picture you present us, I like the contrast between the sharp and blurred parts very much.

Very colorful image, from the thumb nail It looks like there were two of the lady bugs. Good catch as it was taking flight. Nice saturated color, be aware that this is one the borderline being oversaturated. My hummble advice and opinions, Try not to place your subject so much in the center. The frame is a bit too much, not too bad since you have the sense to chose the colors that match your subject, which help. When you have a good image it need not heavy frame but very simple frame just enought to showcase your image rather than compete with your image. I hope this is helpful.

Lovely and well-timed capture of this Ladybird just taking off. Considering the difficulty in getting a shot like this you've done extyremely well. Very nice too to see the wing cases open and beautiful colours. I like your capture in the workshop too!
TFS and regards, Ulla

What a pleasure to see you back on TN, though I myself continue to be erratic in my appearances here, mainly due to excessive work.
Hope you are near completion of your research work.
Your image of the Ladybird is quite attractice and colourful, though I must confess I found your Workshop image better technically.
Hope to see you regularly posting on TN soon.

Hola Irishues, un alto nivel de dificultad muy bien solucionado, una toma con buena composición, luz y color, el enfoque en la parte frontal del insecto es muy bueno. Un saludo

Good Morning Iris,
I think you composed this well slightly off-center.
The POV of this unusual pose, as the lady prepares for flight is perfect. Good color, detail, and a nice BG to set off her bright red color :)
Well done & TFS!

A wonderful pov for this capture.
It has a 3D effect like it is flying out of the frame towards me.
Excellent rich deep colours.

This image has remarkable hues and detail throughfout the scene. What caught my eye was the beautiful and bright colors that the plant and Ladybug has offered you with this macro. The detail of the Ladybug is perfect, an excellent scene...
