Coromandel Marsh Dart

I wish to thank you all for your kind critiques on my previous picture of a Hoverfly sitting on a blue flower. Please forgive me if I am not able to write return critiques quick enough. I am once again bogged down in work.

Coromandel Marsh Dart is the only Damselfly I have been able to see and shoot in our garden since my return to India 9 months ago. It is a tiny insect and you have to really look for it in the grass. Curiously, I shot it last year on the same spot.

Coromandel is the place name in south India, so apparently it is found mainly in that part of our country. However, I have shot it in north India. For further information on the species, please refer to my previous posts of it.

Thanks for your patience and regards to all.

Hello Ram,
This is a real little beauty and what a lovely name! The yellow/green colours are fabulous and the details very sharp. Fine background too and very well composed. It does indeed look very small and you did extremely well to capture it!
Many thanks and regards, Ulla

Slow down...by the time summer gets here...folks will have seen them all :-) Fine image Ram. The unusual colours in background set it off very nicely.
