Indeed, it is beautiful! The colours are absolutely superb, but a beautiful bug yet doesn't mean a beautiful picture. The expert eye and know how of the photographer makes the difference. You once again proof your qualities as an outstanding photographer with this composition and the perfect sharpness and lighting.

Not only is this a beautiful bug with wonderful colors but it is a beautiful picture. The position on the nibbled at leaf showing the grapes is superb. Details, background and diagonal composition are all excellent.

What a fine photo with this bug looking licke a jewel. You have usen a well adapted DOF keeping the whole insect in focus and showing great sharp details. Color rendering has been well made showing the reachness of color tones.

Sumon, I have been wanting to look at this species with a bit of concentration. I am comparatively free this afternoon, so I thought I would gaze at this bug and admire it at my own pace.
You are right; it does not look like the Jewel Bug but has the same colouring. And it is definitely longer. The body shape suggests a beetle, but I cannot be fully sure. I will perhaps go with Ivan; it could be a different species of Jewel Bug.
The image is sharp as a razor. There is not the slightest colour exaggeration and the perforated leaf provides a wonderful BG.
Now that I have seen the simple camera and the magician behind it with my own eyes, I am able to declare with great satisfaction that this highly creative work has made my day.
