I am not sure about this ID except I know it belong to Damselflies. Greatful if you can point out the ID. I tried to avoid the grass in the lower frame. But at the same time worried it might fly away. So took the shot alongwith the grass in the frame. Thank you for your all advice and critics. The recent weather in Delhi makes the lighting unpredictable.

Hello Ganesh,

You can see how these insects can be so well camourflaged. It looks very much like a stick!
Good details on such a tiny image.
I like how its shadow appears to be returning its gaze!

Kind regards,
Bev :-)

There is one house between we neighbours today, Ganesan :).
The lateral light in this picture has illuminated the damselfly like a spotlight. The effect is sheer magic.
Very beautiful image which is technically very sound.
Well done and TFS.

A good composition here, showing good details of the entire subject. The DOF, POV and BG also add value to the pic.

Hello Ganesh,
Beautiful capture of this fine Damselfly that must be shown here for the first time? Beautiful glimpses of light bringing out its colours and details very well. A very nice background too. Well done!
TFS and best wishes, Ulla
