Anybody has any idea of what this small thing is? It's much bigger and colorful than a mosquito. Can it be a gnat? An ichneumon?

It's a Robber Fly ( Diptera, asilid family) They capture preys in flight and suck them dry.
Maybe you should have reframed the picture to make the fly bigger? Nice POV though.
