It is a very fine portrait of a Grey wagtail taken from an ideal POV with excellent sharpness and lighting and the neutral green BG sets it off very nicely.

The bird has been captured in an elegant pose, Smitha.
There is so much grace and charm in it.
What strikes me the most in the combination of very subtle colours on its sleek body.
The diagonal position of the subject fills the frame beautifully.

An awesome capture and a fitting dedication for Fatih! I just saw his shot. I love the way your bird stands out against the smooth green BG. This makes a fine contrast to the yellow underside of the Wagtail that is prominently displayed. The subject itself is picked up with excellent details, i love the overal richness that the colours impart to the composition.And to get this one from a boat with that heavy lens ..that gives the work a very professional touch.

Hi Smitha,
this is a very beautiful picture with great sharpness and details, the bird stand out so good from the nicely BG.
The picture is also well exposed and well composed.
A small nit is the busy foreground, maybe a higher POV had helped, but taken from a boat it not easy.
Nevertheless it's a great shot.

First of all, many thanks for your kind comment and nice words on my website. It was actually the first one i've ever designed and i was also pretty happy with the simple but effective look.

This is a lovely capture of this Grey Wagtail!
I like the nice side POV you've got here and the excellent BG it provided. Hence, the bird is clearly isolated and stands out wonderful.
Furthermore, the warm light and the spot-on exposure make the colors vibrant and very beautiful and making the entire photo more exciting.
Impeccable sharpness and nice presentation, too.

Very beautiful shot, indeed. This is a bird I see close to my house next to the river quite often, but I never have taken pictures of it.
