This is a superb and very sharp capture of this gorgeous butterfly! I love its colours and the beautiful eye markings on the wings. Good focus on the eye and I like its pose on the flower. Well composed too and a very pleasant green background.

A very fine closed-wing, almost frame-filling capture of a Peacock Pansy taken from a perfect POV. The sharpness details are exquisite and the lighting just right to show this up so well against the OOF natural BG.

It's been a while since we've seen one of your beautiful butterflies. This is exquisite. You captured the Peacock Pansy in a wonderful pose on the interesting flower. Another worthy butterfly presentation from your extensive collection. Very, very well done.

In butterfly photography two underrepresented areas are profiles and shots from the underside of a perched butterfly. This is an very fine profile taken from a low perspective.

As always you have impeccable DOF and the sharpness and the overall technical quality of this image is exceptional.

I appreciate your choice of a different point of view since most of us are enamoured by the flashy yellow of this butterfly's upper wings with those eye-spots on them, Sumon.
This side of the wings has its own kind of beauty which you have captured very well in this sharp picture.
It must be a great experience to be involved in the Tiger Census Programme.

You are right, this butterfly is a beauty. You have put it so well on stage. The great sharpness added to a fine depth of view create a magnificent impact. The perspective obtained by the subtle diagonal composition is superb.
