The Grasshopper and the Ants
|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|Grasshopper this time around playing the role of Mr/s.Green..it was Mr/s.Brown in one of my earlier snaps..|
May be a little out of the box from the usual anatomy stuff..we must have all read this famous Aesop's fable - 'The Grasshopper and the Ants' in our childhood..which goes like this..
Once upon a time there was a Grasshopper who has spent the warm months singing away while the ants worked to store up food for winter. When winter arrives, the grasshopper finds itself dying of hunger, and upon asking the ant for food is only rebuked for its idleness. This story is used to teach the virtues of hard work and saving, and the perils of improvidence. Some popular one liners from this fable are, 'Idleness brings want', 'To work today is to eat tomorrow' & 'It is best to prepare for the days of necessity'...
How far sighted were those people who had come up with such amazingly petit moral driven fables which teaches everything to a child for it's survival!!
