[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Saw a family of River Tern in TG Halli. This one is a junenile ( my guess, because the Head is not complete black ). I noticed that he is able to fly , but not able to catch a fish himself. It is after one such unsuccessfull attempt, he is returning home.. :)

This is a an excellent picture and its a tragedy that its not got its due! The position of the bird and the framing is superb.
looks like a whiskered tern :-), except for that orange beak.
