White-bellied blue robin (earlier shortwing), are endangered, endemic birds in montane habitats of southwest India - an Endemic Bird Area where over 20 restricted range and several more sub-continental endemics (mostly shared with Sri Lanka) occur.

This was a very cooperative bird, allowing me within 10-15 feet of it before hopping off into the undergrowth!

Please note, that I reposted from yesterday - I brightened the image a little for the bird to stand out better.

Excellent capture, I congratulate you for the contrast and depth achieved. Good optical adjustment. Excellent approach. I have some doubts about the composition, I pull too central. However, it is not affecting the overall result of the photo.

Beautiful photo of this Blue Robin. Amazing pose with eye-contact. Sharpness and details in the bird are very good. Beautiful natural colours. The environment is a bit busy, maybe you can crop a little bit more of these branches.
