The legs of this spider are very long. The front legs are about twice as long as the spider. The abdomen area is black with yellow bands which look quite attractive.

I see your flash went off...that should have dramatically increased your DOF. Is this a new camera or one that you have been using?
Well seen and Identified...just a tad blurry and not sure why with flash going off....mechanical problem?

Hallo Subhash
This indeed a huge spider with remarkable paws. The black and yellow body and segmented paws, is really striking. It looks as if its body was plaited and curled into the beautiful shape it is now. I like the full framed composition; it makes the striking details well noticeable. Thanks for sharing. Best regards from a very cold South Africa.

A very beautiful, simple and no-nonsense shot from you, Ranjan!
Lovely work!

Hi Subhash,

I've never had much luck with spiders! You've captured this one in a wonderful position showing his body and legs perfectly. I love the colors and patterns. He really is very attractive.
