I see you have dug into your archives to share this Common Wanderer with us, Ganesan. It is a lovely image.
Yes, the worst summer is behind us now and delayed monsoon has given a new lease of life to the insect world. However, work keeps me so busy I have really not taken out my camera in the past three months. Even now, I see lot of dragonflies and butterflies flying around, but I have no time to go chasing them.
Good that you are back after a break.

Hi Narayanan,
On the one hand I like the muted colors but on the other hand my photography hearts screems underexposure. Did you check you histrogram to see if the bulk of data is right from the center? You might want to adjust your levels and find a white point. That said, the composition is wonderful, the DOF is very good and so are the details.

Hi Ganesh,

It's sooooo good to see you again - I missed you! We had an awful summer to and we can't blame global warming - it was a typical hot summer with a muggy monsoon season which gave us left rain than we needed. Butterflies and insects have been rarities here too. A beautiful return shot of the lovely butterfly and pretty flower. Both subjects are excellent with nice colors and excellent details. I love the composition. Hope to be seeing more and more from you.
