Hi Goldy,
nice shot with lovely light to give a good contrast.
The branches give a good graphical composition.
The yellow plumage works nice here.

Ciao Goldy. Not easy POV here but good light and colours result. Interesting compo.

hello Goldy,
A very beautiful composition and very fine colors for this bird-picture.
It's an artistical picture for me. May be the sharpness could be a tiny better, but here my eyes are more attracted by the beautiful presentation.
Kind regards

Hello Goldy,
A nice, well composed capture taken from a fine POV in its natural habitat of what is more likely to be a Common Iora.
My reasons for thinking that it is not a grey -headed canary flycatcher are:
This flycatcher is winter visitor to parts of N. India and is resident in the Western Ghats. It is not yet winter where you took this.

The grey-headed canary Flycatcher has a grey throat as well as head.
The Common Iora is common, widespread and variable, though the wing appears to be too yellow for a normal form of common iora.
Thanks and all the best,

hello Goldy, my dear friend

Hello Goldy! Superb exposure, marvelous capture, perfect contrast and sharpness. Nice colours. Well done!

As you know I've lived in India for several years & have travelled from East to West/North to Ceylon. I had never seen this lovely species.
Great photography work.
Educative notes too.
Friendly & warm greetings inspite of the intense COLD here,
Your servant.

Hi Goldy,

The branches are framing well the bird. The point of view is showing the details and colors of the Grey-headed Canary-flycatcher. The morning light has a good effect on the colors. Have a nice day.

Hello Goldy,
