Good Morning L'il Bro,
Stunning scene shot of these magnificent summits from great POV. The clouds around the summits and also lighted-shadow areas enhance this view. Dynamic shot! Great dedication!

I faintly recall seeing this massif for a fleeting moment from Kausani way back in 1982 while travelling by a bus. Gandhiji lived at Kausani for some time, so this picture is an apt tribute to him.
The picture is divine; Rishis of the lore were right about Himalayas being the abode of Gods.

It is well divided, the green mountains the white mountains and the blue sky. The point of of view leads our eyes toward the snowy peaks which is giving depth to the composition. The morning light is enhancing the colors. Have a nice day.

A fine view of the Nanda devi range with an excellent layered perspective in the FG.
The colours and lighting in the clear air add quality to this shot, which make it a great tribute to Gandhiji, a man whose example many should follow in this troubled world.
Thanks and all the best,

Hi L'il Brother,
I was away for a few days and missed some great pictures. I had to choose this for today's comments because it is so beautiful. The snow covered mountains against the blue sky is stunning. I love the shapes and shadings and the wonderful clarity of this marvelous landscape. A magnificent dedication to a wonderful man.

Some how I missed it on the day you posted it. Amazing capture with excellent sharpness & details under controlled luminosity despite of high altitude glare effect which is invariably encountered by all of us. Good relevant notes. TFS

I found this image trawling TrekNature for typical Mountain Scenery and have added your photo to my new theme "Our Planet"
It is really a "postcard" view, and as they say "I wish I was there".
It represents everything one sees and hears about the famous Himalayas and your interesting notes do describe them so well.
I like very much the layout of your photo i.e. starting at the bottom right corner, and one curtain after the other lifting up to the crescendo of the snow covered tops - finishing with an azure autumn sky.
The low sun (was it early morning or late afternoon?) only lightening the high mountains is adding drama to your beautiful image.
