Mario! This is just to remind you how Bambolim & Dauna Paula looked from Vasco during thick of monsoon activity & sunset.

I had shot this photograph from the hillock/Westerly projection of the mainland into the sea from Vasco. In Goa, the land mass seen here is projected like broad fingers into the transition zone of rivers to sea (Rivers being Zuari & Mandovi). Here one can appreciate Zuari river merging with sea in the foreground. Far away (partly OOF) one can see Fort Aguada hill across Mandovi river.

Sorry for the lack of sharpness; but the light was quite poor to extract the best of situation with my available mechanics ;) I felt like showing you this on TN despite of poor quality........//////

Dearest friend, Dr. Subhash Ranjan,
"...Sorry for the lack of sharpness; but the light was quite poor to extract the best of situation with my available mechanics ;) I felt like showing you this on TN despite of poor quality........//////".
And, I'm most happy you did.
In the 40's in Fort Aguada the Portuguese government had a few prisoners of the German & the Italian armies. My uncle served there as staff-sergent.
The image is SPOT ON. I remember all this like it was yesterday; and, had it not been for you I would never be able to visit my beloved homeland, India, again.
Love what you have done for me.
Forever your grateful servant,
Mario.

You obviously did a good favor for Mario and brought back what he had seen so long ago....what good we have done with technology...Much appreciated as a memory photo good Dr.!
