He/She was not showing full beauty of wings by closing them vertically up. After taking some shots a blow some air & in his balancing act it I got some shots with full wing open.

A picture perfect with the POV ideal for observing the characteristics of the species. Very good light and excellent detail.



nice image, but unfortunately this is not Monarch. Monarch is not seen in India, however it's cousin species occur. This one is in fact a mimic of the Plain Tiger. It is a female of Danaid Eggfly.
