Red Junglefowl Male
|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|The Red Junglefowl (Gallus gallus) is a tropical member of the Pheasant family, and is widely believed to be a direct ancestor of the domestic chicken. While the domestic chicken was previously believed to be a descendant of the Red Junglefowl, recent research done by Eriksson et al. suggests possible hybridisation with the Grey Junglefowl. It was first raised in captivity at least several thousand years ago in the Indian subcontinent, and the domesticated form has been used all around the world as a very productive food source for both meat and eggs. Some breeds have been specifically developed to produce these.|

Great shot this lovely Gallus gallus.
It is a consolation prize for French football team?
PS.For our Italians friend you don't have nothing?
This is superb shot! Very nicely captured with great clarity. Nice bright colors and sharp features. Very well framed as well.
I believe I had seen you in the first week of this month in Kanha. Correct me if I am wrong.

very nice picture of shy Junglefowl
Imho you should cut a bit at the right as you have more space behind the bird than in front of it. Ideally this beautiful male should look to the right, but situation is seldom ideal.
thanks for this beautiful picture
