This beautiful frog was trying to get rid of the ants that were attacking it.

I Dropped it into a mug of water and then placed it on the ground.

I got this pose as a reward for my good deed I guess.

Unfortunately I can not help you with the ID, and I do not have any literature about Indian Flora and Fauna...

I often wonder, why ants attack seemingly healthy animals - in South Africa - nearly always on a hot dry day, when it has not rained for a while...

I like your photo very much: the details sharp and the colours luminous!

The layout of the image is very attractive.
