Tropical Sundew - Drosera burmannii
 |
|
[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Tropical Sundew is one of the most beautiful carnivorous plants we find in the Western Ghats.......
Plants usually measures around 2cm in diameter........
It is the fastest trapping Sundew they say... Taking only a few seconds to trap compared to other plant species taking minutes or hours...
This plant has been considered a powerful rubefacient(A substance for external application that produces redness of the skin e.g. by causing dilation of the capillaries and an increase in blood circulation) in Hindu medicine.... :-)
