Termite Mimic spider ? - ID please
 |
|
[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Dunno How crazy i am to assume these names... :-)
Somehow It looks like a termite mimic to me... almost similar size too... He had almost breached a termite mound when i noticed him first... Soon enough he was out with a termite...!!!
He didn't stay in a place while feeding, just kept moving here and there continuously until he was done with the meal... The dry shell was then dropped and he vanished... :-( |

Hello neighbour Vipin,
I'm not an expert, but I think Lou is right. It has 8 legs, so it's a spider.
Good sharpness, details and beautiful matching colours.
Regards,
Peter
Hello Vipin
Great beautiful details and colors, great macro shot, I think it is a spider because of the legs and eyes, and as you described the feeding process. Interesting. Well done!
Regards Hedesan
