Hi Raju,
A few comments about the blur you see:
1 - when diminishing the size of a picture they often look blur, and you need to use the sharpening tools to make it look like the original.
2 - avoid multiple jpegsations. If you shoot in jpeg, reduce the size and save it, then you have 2 jpegsations of the file and this is bad. Shoot in raw, reduce the size and save in jpeg (if you don't want to keep raw because they're large, save them as full size jpeg, but make the small size from the raw and not from the jpeg)
3 - most of the parts of ants look outside of the depth of field. The most important part of the ant (eye of mouth parts) should have been included within the DOF. [I know they run fast]
4 - If it's a huge crop it means you're above the limites of your lens. Then the invisible defect on the glass surface with produce a blur overall (that you would also see in the unreduced size pic)

The light behind is composed of 3 colors only with a sudden bordery between them. Looked like what you get when the whites are burnt and you make it less bright. Could be due to the fact it's a large crop too. Shooting in raw usually helps solving this.
