[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Green Stink Bug is a stink bug belonging to the family Pentatomidae.

According to Dr. David Rider of North Dakota State University, this species should be called Chinavia hilaris.

They are found in orchards, gardens, woodlands and crop fields. They feed with their needle-like mouthparts on the juices of a wide variety of plants from May until the arrival of autumn. Adults develop a preference for developing seeds and thus become crop pests (tomato, bean, pea, cotton, corn, soybean, eggplant). When no seeds are present, they also feed on stems and foliage, thus damaging several fruit trees, such as the apple, cherry, orange and peach trees. (Text slightly modified)

Excellent picture of this bug. For a while i thought it is my post which i posted few months back.
It is almost similar, same bug on the same flower. The design on the back of these bugs is beautiful.

Hello Ram,
an excellent piece of work! The sharpness along with the shallow depth really present an effective view of this clinging bug. The patterns is so special and you have shown it excellently.
I like the contrast of green on red.
well presented composition.
