[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
SOME KIND OF A HOVERFLY, I THOUGHT INITIALLY, BUT MY ENTOMOLOGIST FREIND HELPED IDENTIFY IT AS A FORAGING BEE. I TRIED CAPTURING IT IN 1/3200 AND GOT SOME GOOD RESULT, BUT SOMEHOW AT 1/200 THIS SHOT PROVED TO BE BETTER THAN THAT A HIGH SHUTTER SPEED.( THANKS TO DR. K.RAMESH FOR IDENTIFICATION)

Hi Nitin,
Perfect shot of flying hoverfly and very good moment captured.
Nice colours with excellent detail.
Regards Jiri.

Nitin, this is a kind of Bee, maybe a Bumble Bee, and not a Hoverfly. Hoverflies have no antennae.
Nevertheless. you have achieved this task very well and that too at 1/160. The flower in the corner of the frame makes the capture very ornate.

This is a very nice capture with nice composition. The sharpness is great.
Probably this is Amegilla cingulata, commonly known as the blue-banded bee; it belongs to the Anthophoridae family of insects. (for more information, can go to this link< http://www.treknature.com/viewphotos.php?l=3&p=246614>

A beautiful composition, a very nice combination of colour and insect.
Very good detail, considering the low speed.
