|Coppersmith Barbets are resident birds widely found throughout Indian subcontinent but east of Indus Basin. These are brightly coloured birds with crimson forehead and yellow patches encircling the eye & on the throat..|
Call is repeatative & monotonous..also climbs up the tree trunk just like a woodpecker...
Coppersmith Barbets are very vocal, particularly in the heat of the day & this one gave me the chance around mid afternoon...
