[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A species of Thread-waisted wasp.
I already posted a portrait of this wasp so thought of posting with different perspective. I found this in my backyard one early morning on this plant, spent the night before, using its pincers for firm support. These wasps are very cute and very gentle as long as you keep your distance. Usually they hunt down caterpillars in day time and always busy. hope you like this image.
I was in Mumbai for five days and could not visit TN there.

Hello Nagaraj,
funny Picture of this resting wasp with good sharpness on the jaws and a nicely blurred background. It might would have been even better, if you had used a higher f-number to get the eyes sharp too. Colours and lighting are very good.
Best wishes,

Hello Nagraj,
This macro is taken from an original angle. Some parts are razor sharp with great details, but I miss the details in the eyes. Beautiful colours with a nice blurred background. Fine composition.

Hello Nagaraj,
Interesting capture of this species of Sandwasp. This ventral view shows clearly that it uses its jaws as well as its legs to hold fast on to the stem.
Excellent sharpness where in focus and good use of the low lighting to achieve natural colours and clean BG.
