[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Indian cobra (Naja naja) also known as Asian cobra or Spectacled cobra is a species of the genus Naja found in the Indian subcontinent. This snake is revered in Indian mythology and culture. It is now protected in India under the Indian Wildlife Protection Act (1972).One of my friend is engaged in this protecting activity, rescuing the snakes from the city garden, factories and even from snake charmers and finally they are taken to the nearest forest. I’ve got the chance to see that moment and taken few snaps. I bow to them who have taken in part in such rescue operations and saved/ing not only thousands of snakes but many people due to life saving medicines extract from the snake’s venom.

Hi John,
excellent photo of this snake. Perfect point of view. Brr... I don't like snakes.
Very good composition.
Thanks for sharing,
Maciek

Hello Joy,
The clarity is splendid in this photo. Very beautiful warm colours. Excellent sharpness and taken from a good low POV. Maybe one photo from the front POV? It should be impressive.
Regards,
Peter

hallo Joy
very nice picture with good details and lovely colours
thanks greeting lou

Namaste Joydeb da

What an opportunity to photograph a cobra at such close distance. Your angle is well chosen to project that famous cobra pose with its hood raised in the best way possible. Like this POV which shows both its side and back better than a pure side profile.

Thanks
Himanshu

Ciao Joy,
照的很棒 不但清楚 姿式更是漂亮
難得可以看的這般清晰
蛇的彎曲更是漂亮 非常的滑線自然
身上的色彩還是在變化中

Joydeb,

A well composed pic that shows a clear and OOF BG. The sharpness of the subject, POV and lighting are all excellent.

Ciao Joydeb,
Stupendo cobra ottimamente ripreso nella sua posa caratteristica. Ti sarŕ stato nececessario molto coraggio e conoscenza del comportamento del serpente per poter scattare.
Antonio

Hi Joy,
Nicely composed photo, beautiful textures on the cobra's skin - but he was just a touch closer to the lens than he should have been: his right "side" is sharp while practically everything else is just a little out of focus. What a pity! Otherwise a spectacular image, with appropriate sharpness it may easily be a stunner. However, I'm curiously waiting for the frontal PoV photo you mentioned to Peter!
Besst regards, László

Hello Joydeb
exciting capture of this most feared snake in my country. Exciting pattern on the head. Nice color contrast with blurry background.
Very effective to me.
