[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Today I was keen to take some macro pictures. After mounting Sigma 105mm on my camera, I went out in search of macro subjects on school campus.
It's getting a little cooler now in the mornings and the critters are gradually dwindling in numbers. I seldom see Damselflies, so I was delighted to notice a very tiny one (about 1 inch in length) and took two macro shots of it. Here is one of them.
My research leads me to believe that it is a Agriocnemis pygmaea, but I can't be fully sure. Experts are welcome to correct me.

Here is some brief information on it from Asia Dragonflies website:

Agriocnemis pygmaea (Rambur, 1842)

Found in Asia: Bangladesh, China, Guandong, Guangxi, Hong Kong, Hainan, Indonesia, India, Japan, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Malaysia, Philippines, Peninsular Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan.

Sub-Order: ZYGOPTERA
Super-Family: COENAGRIONOIDEA
Family: COENAGRIONIDAE

Hello Ram,
Another beautiful image from you in excellent clarity and composition. I think the pinkish OOF twig in the bottom left corner area could be cloned out with good effect but very good as is. A real pleasure to view.

Hello Ram,
The weather here in Ohio has also gotten fairly cold and the insects are far and few between. I see you still managed to find a very colorful looking Damselfly that posed perfectly for you. The focus is superb and colors are well saturated yet natural. The surrounding foliage looks fresh and green, where ours is really starting to die down because of the cold nights.

Hi Ram,
Very well composed and focused with superb sharp details, nice lighting, and splendid natural colors. Very well done, my friend. Thanks and regards!
