The Robber flies are muscular and very efficient predators but they do have the most beautiful pair of eyes. Here the emerald colour of its eyes is brought out due to angle of sunlight.

A great macro of this small robber fly,great detail everywhere on the body but not the best sharpness on the eyes,but this incredible color are truly beautiful.Have a nice Sunday and thanks,Luciano.

Hope you are well. Yes, the colour of the eyes looks lovely and overall image is quite fantastic, for I think robber flies are quite difficult to shoot like most of the insect. The focus is good as is the light, thanks a lot for sharing a fine shot, take care,
