(Diplocodes trivialis) Male
This is a small greenish yellow or Blue dragonfly. As the name suggests this dragonfly is found very close to the ground rarely above 1 meter from the ground.
This one was perching in the early morning sun after a night of heavy rain. |

Namaste Himanshu - This species is available in our yard, but very difficult to capture. I have seen them resting on almost ground level. Well captured it. Marks of savage fight on its wing. Good sharpness and natural color. Thanks for sharing. Regards - Srikumar

Beautiful face to face with this magniifcent blue dragonfly!Good details to see the face ,the mouth form remind a bit a monkey...ehhee...great exposure of the different lights levels and bright colors too.Have a nice day and thanks,Luciano
