Never tire of shooting this cute little thing belonging to Blues family. This one is from my archives of 2013.

The Red Pierrot (Talicada nyseus) is a small but striking butterfly found in the Indian Subcontinent and South-East Asia belonging to the lycaenids, or blues family. The red Pierrots, often found perching on the Kalanchoe plant, are usually noticed due to their striking patterns and colors.

Range

Himalayan foothills, North India, South India, Meghalaya, Assam, North Myanmar.

Hi, Ram. Another beautiful butterfly in this excellent composition with depth of field focusing on the subject and flower. By placing the subject in the Golden triangle the eye leads to the butterfly. Exposure and lighting is perfect. Thanks for sharing.
