I shot this damselfly perched on the petal of a white Lotus flower last year in the lotus pond we have in our school. I dug out this image from my archives only today.

Ceriagrion coromandelianum is a species of damselfly in the family Coenagrionidae. it is commonly known as Coromandel Marsh dart and Yellow Waxtail.

This species can be found in South Asian countries such as India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan and Nepal.

Hello Ram,
Very nice macro of this little damselfly in outstanding sharpness and details. Beautiful saturated colours nicely contrasting against the white background.

Hi Ram,
A very good macro of this damsel fly. Excellent colours, the focus (I think f/9 would have got most on the subject in better focus). Good light control and an overall nice composition.
Thanks for sharing, regards Bill.

Hello Ram,
A beautiful species of damselfly showing stunning green and yellow coloring against a snow white BG. I don't believe we have any quite like this here in Ohio, but I sure wish we did. Sharply focused and displaying excellent detail.
Interesting that it chose to perch on the only part of the petal with a bit of green coloring to it. Perhaps this is a deliberate act on it's part in order to be slightly camouflaged.

Hello Ram
you have real jewels in your archives, this damselfly have bvery beautiful colors especially the green eyes, sharpness is superb, this white lotus flower make a wonderful environment
Have a good night
