[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I had captured this photograph of Banded Skipper or Grass Skipper in our yard. Very small species. I knew this flower name but forget!
Grass Skippers or Banded Skippers are the butterflies of the subfamily "Hesperiinae", part of the skipper family "Hesperiinae".
With over 2000 species; so it's very difficult to me to find out exact one.
Larvae feed on grasses and sedges. Adults typically visit flowers and hold their wing together while feeding.

Hi Srikumar, after years of treknature, we saw all kinds of species, even dozens of times, and I really like the way to present them in an original and different way, a thing that sometimes I try to do it too, but often butterflies and birds don't help me. This is delicious, winning composition and great quality, I'm just sorry that I can't give you the exact name of the skipper.Have a nice weekend and thanks,Luciano

Hello Srikumar,
I like your narrow vertical composition, showing just what is important and not wasting any of the frame. You have presented to us a beautiful little skipper in fine detail and rich yet natural color. The clean BG is great and the exposure is perfect. I too have trouble at times getting the exact ID on skippers, as there are so many species and many look similar in appearance. Well done!!

hello Srikumar
une magnifique prise, bonne gestion de la profondeur avec l'arrière plan flou.
La lumière est superbe, bon cadrage vertical.
Bon W-E

Hi Srikumar
Excellent shot. Apparently you took the photo in the afternoon, considering the light. Well done.

Hello Srikumar

Great macro of this skipper, fine POV and looking the insect's pose
appropriate vertical framing, great focus, sharpness, and details, TFS

Hello Srikumar,
outstandingly beautiful composition. Deliciously smooth and natural colours in very pleasant contrasts. You have presented us a cheerfully charming, skilfully made, impressingly unique piece of art. Thank you!
With best regards,

Hi Srikumar,

The flower is helping to frame the skiooer. The point of view is showing woth precision the details of the Banded Skipper. The good luminosity is making the colors to stand out. Have a nice day.
