I shot this mating pair of Coromandel Marsh Dart damselflies on a lotus leaf in the school lotus pond yesterday afternoon. The light was quite harsh at that time.

Ceriagrion coromandelianum is a species of damselfly in the family Coenagrionidae. It is commonly known as coromandel marsh dart and yellow waxtail.

Distribution and habitat

This species can be found in South Asian countries such as: India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan and Nepal. It breads in ponds, ditches, rice fields and mangrove forest.

Greeen is my favourite colour and here almost everything seeems to be of this coloration. You succeeded well in taking these two Coromandel marsh darts in a quite difficult pose for the photographer. Nice also the diagonal presentation,
