[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is something very different from what I generally post on TN. Couple of years back, I had been to one of the India's remotest place in the Ladakh region - Zanskar. This picture was shot in the evening from the hotel in Padum. The entire Ladakh region is bestowed with Celestial beauty. Most of the mountains in Zanskar are barren mountains with snow only on the upper reaches of the peaks. Since, the travel period was in June, we still got snowy peaks.

Have edited the original pic to get this effect. Hope the members like it.

Like your PP work; mainly interplay of light and shade. Very good DOF on snow as well as exposure. Hope one day I'll being Ladakh too. Beautiful place, no doubt.

Satirtha, you have recorded a perfect impression of celestial nature of Ladakh mountains in this landscape image. The light illuminating the side of the twin peaks creates that impression and it is well contrasted with the rest of the dark surroundings including the deep indigo 'bluesky'-- your 'name' on TN. :)
This is one of the most beautiful images of mountains I have I ever seen. Bravo!

Hello Satirtha,
What a gorgeous shot of one of the mountain ranges in the Ladakh region of Zanskar. The lighting is magical, almost fairytail like. Exceptional detail of the illuminated twin peaks can easily be observed. Reminds me of my granddaughters favorite animated movie...frozen. Well done!!
