|I got curious about the shape of this dried up flower of some weed growing wild in one of the abandoned flower pots on the roof terrace of my apartment today afternoon. On impulse, I fixed my macro 105mm lens on to an extension tube. I have three of them but hardly use them. I thought these tubes have damaged the contact points on my camera body.|
Anyway, here it is for you to view. Nothing to brag about; I hope you like its shape as much as I do.

Hi Ram,great composition showing us what remains of this dried flower! The seeds are gone and the life cycle is end. Very good idea to create a magic pic with this simple element, impressive quality as usual. Have a nice day and thanks,Luciano
Very nice capture, the composition's eye-pleasing with the dried flower leans into the pic from right. Sharpness is good also, and I'd call the photo a masterpiece without that little destructing background element in the left bottom corner. Otherwise, perfect piece of art of minimalism.
Kind regards from Ireland, László

I also have the set of three extension tubes and almost never use them either. This time it worked out nicely on this beautiful and very unique looking dried flower. The focus is superb and appears almost like a 3D image. Hopefully someone can identify this type of plant for you, I would love to see its flowers in bloom.
I'm on a short holiday in DANUBE DELTA (heaven on earth for any photographer). I do not have much time for comment.....
A very interesting capture with stunning clarity and contrast....
