I was at Hamirpur town in Himachal Pradesh for 4 days in connection with an educational conference. I captured this pretty butterfly on the campus of the school where the conference was being held.

Heliophorus sena, the sorrel sapphire, is a small butterfly found in India that belongs to the lycaenids or blues family.

The insect is well placed in the frame. The point of view is showing the details of the Sorrel Sapphire butterfly. The light is making the colours to stand out. Have a nice day.
