Hi,

This is Celuron , this was taken today morning when i went for a walk, i could not find any other butterflies , this was abdundant in lalbagh, got some shots in the morning.

There is some noise in the picture!!

Hi Goutham!
How lucky to be there in the midst of plenty of butterflies to choose from!
As usual, this is a good capture. I find its head and antennae particularly attractive.
And thanks for looking at my last butterfly.

Hi Goutham,
Just found this picture after doing a search for "Jamides" in TN. The composition and background are excellent. Although the picture shows the insect in good detail, it seems to me a little over-exposed. It might be possible to reduce the glare and get more contrast in the wing markings with Photoshop. To this end I've made a workshop.
As to the identification of the butterfly, I believe it is actually the Long Tailed Blue Lampides boeticus rather than a Jamides species.
