This dragonfly i fond near village lake. there were hunrdreds of them The BG u can see is the water of lake.
Trithemis pallidinervis is yellowish brown, medium sized dragonfly with noticeably long legs (which u can see in picture also). They are seen very rarely near the ponds and small streams. The thorax has three black stripes on each side and the underside of the abdomen is black. The body is brown in colour , but with yellow patches on the ventral side and the tip of the abdomen. Both wings are transparent , with light brown shade on the base of the hind wing.

Hello Mahesh , A Very good shot from the dragonfly , Good compositie colours details ,very good ,Greetings Teunie .

Hi Mahesh,
Excellent picture of this Trithemis from a very good perspective. DOF, sharpness and colours are outstanding here and the BG is just ideal.
For quite some time, I was wrong about the ID of this dragon until one Kevin from Canada pointed out my error and I rectified it in all the previous posts I had made.
I had shot it in your State, so I guess this fellow is native to Maharashtra :-)!
Your images get better and better with each post, so keep it going.
