Hi Ben, these animals are quite incredible, aren't they? Your fellow is a bit over-exposed with the white ears and face, which is a shame, as he is nice and sharp. TFS...
An interesting look at a Giraffe head, especially his horn type growths. Nice colours and detail, a bit OE but still a nice portrait.
Very nice portrait of this giraffe.Great POV, I agree with the others the lighting is harsh on the nose , but still a very good shot.Nice detail and focus.TFS

Great Zürafa (Giraffe) Picture.Perfect.
A fine giraffe portrait!
I cannoit quite make up my mind on his expression, maybe he's irritated because you're disturbing his meal?
Well framed with good colours and details!
Hi Benyamin - obviously you've used all the zoom of your Sony to shoot that cute closeup of the giraffe. Very sympatethic! I have a fun theory of mine that animals seem sympathetic when they are eatable. Its presence in the safari park provces my theory, doesnt it!?
A good shot with sharp detail. I agree that is has a little OE on the face. Looks like he was partialy in shade and bright sun. A very difficult exposure. Perfect OOF backround shows him well.

Nicely composed picture. Good pov to look at. Well done and seen.
Nice composition. I agree with already mentioned highlights overexposure. Midday sunlight is always difficult.
despite the few OEd spots, it´s a great portrait, ben! :-)
nice sharp sideview against a terrific green blurred bg
and in the beautiful sunlight.
excellent pov on eyelevel..eyelevel? how did you get so high?
well done & take care, thorsten.

You managed the light very well. Your POV is very interesting. In spite of a little bit over-exposed the giraffe portrait looks very nice. Bravo my friend. With my best wishes.

I see we both use the same camera Sony P200. However, you seem to have a better mastery over it, as this lovely image exhibits.
There is a brooding expression in the eyes of this giraffe which you have captured so very well.
Thanks for your comment on my recent picture.
TFS and take care.

I like the expression on her face: she seems so bored :-) This is funny! Otherwise, like many other persons have said, there is a little OE on the head but it doesn't bother me... You caught great details and I like it :-) Regards,
From the many comments your girafe has received it is obvious that it has appeal; and I can see why you were eager to post it. It is unfortunate that because of the lighting conditions, shadows and highlights are distracting. But that's all right, Ben, now you have another reason to return to the safari park, this time under better light conditions. Smile!

A good portrait, with good details and composition. You have handle strong and back light good enough.

A little nit: some overexposed areas.

A unique POV, Ben, but I like it. He's looking off into the distance, and we get to see his big beautiful eyelashes. A nice bg, too.

Love your notes.
Here in Calgary, in our Zoo, a baby Giraffe was born
last week. I should go to see it.
May be I'll make a lovely shot too. (OE minor issue.)
