These series of postings are intended to increase the knowledge on Sulawesi's biodiversity. Large parts of Sulawesi are only poorly explored also with respect to butterflies, such as the south-eastern Peninsula, Sulawesi-Tenggara.

Rain forest margin. Vicinity of Kendari, South East Sulawesi (Sulawesi-Tenggara).

Guten Tag Peter,
Ein feines Bild, sehr diskret auf dem Thumbnail. Aber eine sehr schöne diagonale Präsentation und ein feiner grüner Hintergrund für diese inzteressante Spinne an einem gut sichtbaren Faden hängend. Gefällt mir sehr.

Lovely image of this orb-weaver, I find them here after monsoon, commonly called as Orchard Orb-weaver, am not an expert. Good composition and details. tfs.
