I believe this is a common darter [please tell me if I am wrong.....]

Now, it is almost end of rainy season in Indonesia, but in town where I live, usually we still receive some rainfall even during what supposed to be a dry season in Indonesia. So, many species of tropical insects are relatively easy to find.

This kind of dragonfly is one of the most commonly found insect, especially during this time of the year, February to May.

[I feel bad for not being able to visit this site as much as I did....]

Hi Benyamin,
This is a very close approach!
I like so much this macro due to the vivid colours and their great contrast.
Details on the wings and on the legs are amazing.
Did you point the focus to the body and then crop the image?
I ask because DOF was a little narrow, and the big eyes are slightly OOF.
Congratulations and thanks fro share it.
My best regards,
JM

Hi Ben,
A very nice frame filling macro composition. The color saturation is amazing. Nice sharp detail. A very coll shot :)

Hi Benyami,
a nice closeup with good POV and compostion.
Some parts of the body and heaf is in shadow a weak fill-in flash may have helped to bright up.
The colours are nice and warm.
Well done.

Hi Ben.
What a nice colorful shot you have created. Richness of colour tones are great and very unusual for our nature. Amazing POV, cropping and composition. Sharpness is great but details have been reflected a bit modestly. I think to reproduce all details of the dragonfly it is necessary to use a flash. However, it is matter of taste. The shot is done perfectly. I wish you good health and high activity on TN.
Yours Alexei.

Ben,
BEAUTIFULLY done.
Such detail.
GREAT photography.
Greetings from Canada from Mario.

Outra ótima foto. Gosto dessa tonalidade meio avrmelhada. A nitidez da imagem é incrível e os detalhes maravilhosos. Sempre fico encantada com o desenho das asas e a transparência...sutil...linda!

Hi Benyamin,
this is a brilliant macro shot of this dragonflies head.
Amazing colours and a great DOF. However the red petal behind the head is a little distracting.
Very well done,
Joey
