In the tidal flat
|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|This bird's leg long with about as much as 25cm from the root to the tip of a finger is a feature though the length is 40cm. The foot is red or pink, and white and the nib are the body colors of black in the wing from the gray and the scruff of the neck to the abdomen. It lives in the marsh, the tidal flat, lakes and marshes, and the rice field, etc. The food habit is animal food. It strolls in the waterside with a long leg, and it preys on the insect, the fingerling, the prawn, and the crab, etc.|
I took it in the Yatsu tidal flat in Chiba Prefecture registered in Ramsar Convention.

I think this image is actually Fantastic! Breaking the rules of the classical composition is a brave choice and I want to congratulate you for that.Strong contrast and saturated colors are well presented in that frame! Well done again!
Hello Mikio! Amazing birds, wonderful scene. Good note. Very good point of view. Original composition. Superb capture. Good luck!
